Karen Angus' Sponsored Head-Shave
for the Shetland MS Therapy Fund

Karen needs your help and support for her forthcoming sponsored haircut.

The proceeds of her 'short back and sides' sponsorship will be donated to the Shetland MS Therapy Fund, to help to provide complementary treatment for Shetland's sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis.

Her wonderful head of hair (see below) will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, to make wigs for young cancer sufferers whose own hair has been lost as a side-result of chemotherapy.

NEWS UPDATE!!!

Karen's haircut took place at Cunningsburgh Hall, South Mainland, on Thursday evening (February 7th). The hairdresser in attendance was the excellent Dylan Lennon, of 'Just Gents' in Hangcliff Lane (next to the Bank of Scotland on Commercial Street). His hair-styling technique can be seen in the footage, and is complete.

The event was photographed, video-taped and reported in the Shetland News. The video footage can be seen below; the Shetland News article can be read by clicking here.

The collection sheets will be left in place in Unst until Friday 15th February - if you have any coppers (or better stuff) to spare, please donate it!

We love you, and thank you for your support :o)

Thanks go to Cunningsburgh Hall, and to Robin Hunter and his wife in particular.
