We depart from Lerwick, and first of all visit Scalloway (the ancient capital of Shetland).
We then drive through the Tingwall Valley out through Weisdale, Bixter, Skeld, Walls and travel as far west as Sandness.

  Shetland Jewellery workshop:
Beautiful gold/silver Shetland designs.

A key centre for fisheries' education, training,
research and development
Walster Weavers
Traditional handloom weaving, with original designs.

Scalloway Castle:
Built for Earl Patrick Stewart in the late 16th century.
  Weisdale Mill & Bonhoga Gallery:
Cafe, art gallery and scenic setting.
         
Kergord: Kergord - Shetland's tree plantation:
A most atmospheric place, with WWII connections to the WW II 'Shetland Bus' operations.
 

Stanyedale Temple:

A neolithic archaeological site.

Journeyman Leather:
Hand-made leather goods
(saddles, tack, bags, belts etc).
< Sandness > Jamieson's Spinning Mill:
Find out what happens to the wool,
once the sheep has been sheared.
